Every tech enthusiast dreams of building a powerful machine, and for me, that dream turned into reality. As a CSE graduate from NIT Rourkela with 20+ years in the tech industry, I always wanted a system that could handle high-performance computing and AI workloads. Building my SuperComputing AI cum Gaming Rig became more than just assembling parts—it was a personal passion project that tested my patience, technical skill, and love for hardware.
Inside My Custom-Built Supercomputer
The journey started with carefully chosen components: a Ryzen 9 processor with AM5 socket, high-frequency 64GB RAM, AIO liquid cooler, blazing-fast 2TB NVMe SSD, and the latest NVIDIA 50-series GPU. Each part was placed inside a fish-tank style cabinet, giving it a futuristic, all-black aesthetic. The LCD CPU cooler with RGB lighting synced like a breathing organism, making my custom rig feel alive and ready to conquer complex challenges.
Performance Beyond Expectations
Using this supercomputer daily has been nothing short of extraordinary. Tasks like computer vision, video editing of massive 4GB files, and AI programming now run effortlessly. My Asus ROG laptop struggled with these workloads, but my custom AI rig handled them with unmatched speed and stability. Running Generative AI models like GPT and Stable Diffusion for inference felt seamless, proving that my build outperforms even premium machines from Apple, Asus, Lenovo, or Dell.
The Future with My BlackDemon AI Brand
This machine is not just about speed—it’s about creativity, innovation, and pushing limits. I have been fine-tuning AI models, experimenting with diffusion techniques, and optimizing LLM performance on this rig. My next step is building BlackDemon India, a creative AI brand focused on image and video generation powered by my supercomputing setup. Of course, I also plan to enjoy high-end gaming, multiple screen setups, and transforming my workspace into a full-fledged tech studio.
